Needed a place to rest last minute after a incredibly stressful day. It was late probably like 11:00 PM and I stopped to check vacancy. The owner was genuinely kind and checked me right into the last available room. The room was very clean and had anything you'd need to get some rest and have a convenience meal in room as there was a microwave and fridge plus a small dining table in room. I made some in room coffee in the AM before heading out after getting some much needed rest. Upon checking out I was met with the same genuine kindness and asked if everything was good with my stay as well as encouraged to return. If your looking for a room and prefer your amenities to be comfortable and clean vs fancy and you appreciate kindness and cleanliness over anything else then this place is for you.

You couldn't ask for more. You are treated with kindness and a clean place. Never saw 1 piece of trash anywhere. It's a motel. Therefore, your door opens right up to outside. No nasty inside corridore to walk thru and then a lobby. Yuck. You pull right up to your room door. Hence, motel not a hotel. The room was super clean and comfortable. There is a nice picknick table and grill to use with a beautiful view of a nice field and trees for your dog to run and play, if you have one. At night you can watch the sunset over the trees and see the stars because you are away from everything. but everything is within minutes of you, if you choose those things. Its nice to not be surrounded by them. It's not fancy and yes the furniture is older. However, its clean with a great bed and location and service is superior. I am a single female travelling alone and was very comfortable. Hopefully you will get the pleasure of meeting Harry, the owner, and his family. Now, if your a fancy and frills person please bypass. Don't t stay here and then write a negative review. Know where your going and if you appreciate a nice small family business that goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is great, then please stay and support them. We need small family places still. You wont regret it! 🤗

Could not speak more highly of the incredible staff!! Clean, warm, dog friendly rooms. Breakfast staff was warm and welcoming ☺️

Off I-70. Very clean. Pet friendly. Competitive rates. Super comfy beds. Well maintained property. Friendly and engaging staff. Really great value and far better than I had expected. Approximately 65 miles west of St. Louis.

Stayed one night on a cross country road trip. Super impressed with the hospitality and cleanliness of the room. Pet friendly, no weight limit- which was perfect since I was traveling with a giant breed dog. Can’t say enough good things about this motel. Highly recommend staying here!!

Was an amazing stay super comfy and homey. Will definitely be stop and staying on the way home! The guy that checked us is I think he may own it was super friendly and polite.

This was everything I needed on a long road trip with my dog. I felt safe, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. I locked myself out of my room almost immediately 🤦🏽‍♀️ and he was very kind about it and let me right back in. It’s in the middle of nowhere but that was fine with me, I just needed a place to shower and sleep. The owner advised me of this when I called to inquire about a room, which was very helpful. I bought some food before I got too close because there was nowhere to do so nearby.

Wow Harry is the best! You can tell him and his wife care deeply about making this a great stop for folks tired from traveling. The room was nice and spacious, and everything was well cared for. Harry also made me feel very safe as a solo traveler. We all know motels can vary but this is definitely one you're going to have a good experience at and rest in. Thank you Harry!
